Game of love 240- THE UNIVERSE LIES WITHIN

THE UNIVERSE LIES WITHIN

Start making your own happiness a priority. – Your needs matter. If you don’t value yourself, look out for yourself, and stick up for yourself, you’re sabotaging yourself. Remember, it IS possible to take care of your own needs while simultaneously caring for those around you. And once your needs are met, you will likely be far more capable of helping those who need you most.

It's important we learn how to love ourselves before we can give love and happiness to any other being. The only way we can recognise our inner self, is to become one with it and this is the way we learn how to love our inner beauty, which is God.

One has to make their own company their best company. Many will come and go in this world. Many will say they are your friends and many will say they will stick with you for life. These are mere words. There are great people out there and there are amazing loved ones out there. But in reality life is very busy, people get tied up in their own little lives and time becomes very difficult to constantly give to others. At this point, one begins to realise how important it is to enjoy your own company and become best friends with your inner self.

There is only one way an individual can become best friends with their selves. One needs to realise the inner self through Naam meditation. When one controls and branches the mind through Naam and finds inner peace, happiness and ecstasy, one realises there is no greater joy than ones own company.

The beauty about this is, once one considers their own needs, values themselves and starts to recognise the beauty of God within, they will naturally see Gods virtues and beauty in every being in the universe. The Universe lies within, when recognised, "EVERYTHING" becomes one with our spirit.

Guru Amardas Ji Says, "O Nanak, those who are attuned to the Naam remain unattached and balanced; in the home of the inner self, they are absorbed in the primal trance of deep meditation and they begin to see God in all."
